Arayes are a Lebanese classic street food which is basically a pita bread stuffed with spiced ground beef or lamb, or a mixture of both! Itβs like a hamburger but so much better and with more flavor! Made of super simple ingredients Arayes makes for the perfect recipe to add to your weekly meal plan. Make them ahead of time or prep it quickly the night of for a healthy dinner everyone will love!
I like to serve Arayes alongside an Israeli salad and a simple lemon tahini sauce for drizzling!
Naked Meatballs
Have you tried making my meatball recipe yet!? They can be easily adapted to be made with any ground protein: chicken, beef, lamb, bison, veal or pork. Theyβre super delicious, and juicy too! I have a version I cook right in the sauce, but I love to prepare them βnakedβ and keep a stash to have for on-the-go snacks! The naked meatballs are the same delicious meatball you love, just without putting them in the sauce to cook.
