Easy Puff Pastry Deli Roll

Are you looking for a savory appetizer that both adults and kids will enjoy? This puff pastry deli roll is the recipe for you!

This recipe is something I've eaten at a friend's house. I’ve made it a bunch of times, and anyone who's ever eaten this has loved it! It's quick to prepare and a great appetizer for football Sundays or Shabbat dinner. Even the picky eaters will love this one thanks to the simple and delicious ingredients.

It's super easy to make, and you can use any deli meat you like or have on hand! I’ve done it with turkey, pastrami, prosciutto, ham, and roast beef. All you need is your favorite deli meat, puff pastry, mustard, egg wash, and an oven! NO measurements required!

This recipe can be made using gluten-free and/or dairy-free puff pastry! It’s the perfect dish to serve a crowd with various allergies! Best served warm with a beer or glass of wine!

  1. Open the thawed puff pastry sheet and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread a generous amount of mustard down the center of the pastry. Layer with turkey slices, about 2-3 layers.

  2. Next, do another 2-3 layers of pastrami over the turkey. Fold one side of the pastry over the center and then the other side over the first side. Seal the pastry together with egg wash, and also make sure to brush egg wash over the top.

  3. Sprinkle the top with bagel seasoning, sesame seeds or simply some salt and pepper.

  4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes or until medium golden brown.

  5. Voila! Here's your finished Deli Roll! Let stand 5-7 minutes before serving. It will be very hot!
